The Japanese monster movie "Godzilla Minus One" has achieved a remarkable box office milestone, surpassing $100 million worldwide. According to Collider, the film has earned an impressive $606 million globally, quadrupling its production budget of $15 million.
This milestone marks a significant achievement for "Godzilla Minus One," making it the second highest-grossing Godzilla film worldwide, behind only "Shin Godzilla" which earned $760 million in 2016.
The international markets have been a major contributor to the film's success, with 11 markets accounting for $489 million of the worldwide box office total. Notably, the film has performed exceptionally well in Japan, where it has become the highest-grossing Godzilla movie ever.
