25 Years of the Gungan Menace
The Phantom Menace, the first installment in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special screening in theaters and the release of a special anniversary comic. A special edition of the film, dubbed "The Phantom Menace 25th Anniversary Special 1," will be released on May 1, 2024, and is available for pre-order at various comic shops and online retailers. To commemorate the occasion, a special 25th anniversary poster by artist Matt Ferguson will also be released. The special theatrical re-release of The Phantom Menace will be available in cinemas on May 3, 2023. Tickets are on sale now at all major ticket vendors. As a special bonus, this limited engagement will include an exclusive early look at Disney+'s upcoming series, The Acolyte.
